This Byzantine and Romanesque masterpiece was designed by one of America's foremost ecclesiastical architects, Ralph Adams Cram. The interior is decorated with a glittering array of seven million tiles of Venetian mosaics, covering 14,000 square feet and 34 varieties of marble. This work is said to be equal to the finest Byzantine art in any museum.

The reredos behind the altar displays 16th century icons from the collection of Czar Nicholas II and a pair of 17th century royal doors from a Russian Orthodox cathedral. A blazing image of Christ enthroned fills the semi-dome of the apse above the altar.

<geo:Point><geo:lat>40.763791</geo:lat><geo:long>-73.969552</geo:long></geo:Point>

Wedding Reception: Manhattan Penthouse

Located on the 17th floor of a historic building near Union Square, this bright 8,000-square-foot space lined with ficus trees can accommodate up to 225 seated guests (with dancing).
