With our emphasis on healthful natural foods cuisine, Moosewood
Restaurant has operated successfully for thirty-three years and has
been acclaimed as a driving force in the world of creative vegetarian
cooking. Moosewood was named one of the thirteen most influential
restaurants of the 20th Century by Bon Appetit
magazine. We started in an era when many alternative businesses began,
and we feel incredibly grateful to have endured, thrived and had a
positive impact.
Our meals are prepared with the freshest produce (organic whenever
possible), whole grains, beans, soy, quality herbs and spices, and the
finest imported or domestic ingredients available.

Vegetarianism as a life-style choice was a strong influence on the
development of the restaurant's repertoire, as well as our commitment
to offer the best ingredients in healthful, imaginative whole foods
cuisine.

<geo:Point><geo:lat>42.440634</geo:lat><geo:long>-76.498913</geo:long></geo:Point>

Taughannock Farms Inn

Taughannock Farms Inn has a total of 22 guest rooms on the grounds

woods, ponds and wetlands, just a few minutes from Ithaca in the
picturesque Finger Lakes Region.
We’ve added shrubs, small trees, ferns, perennials, and the greatest
selection of native plants in Central NY. We will continue to grow
plants you won’t see elsewhere, including annuals and tropicals
(bananas!), but with a greater overall emphasis on hardiness to USDA
Zone 5 and colder.
A small taste from our menu includes evening primrose, species
columbines, mountain mint, little bluestem, prairie dropseed, Culver’s
root, hops, witch hazel, American beech, American filbert (hazelnut),
ironwood, moosewood, pagoda dogwood, forget-me-not, tussock sedge, blue
wood sedge, bigleaf aster, white wood aster, giant-leaf yarrow,
cinnamon fern, ostrich fern, jack-in-the-pulpit, and a host of native
species and world travelers, 100% nursery-propagated.As a father with young kids, and also a botanical fanatic, my goal is
to have it all: an outstanding nursery, but one that's kid-friendly and
kid-safe. While plant aficionados and collectors are more than
welcome, I also want families to enjoy visiting the nursery. We will
have a garden and play area just for kids, so you can bring your
children to the nursery, while still indulging your own garden
desires. Let the kids play while you concentrate on plants for your
garden. We will also develop simple paths thru parts of the woods so
families can walk easily, with minimal disturbance.

<geo:Point><geo:lat>42.541027</geo:lat><geo:long>-76.449275</geo:long></geo:Point>

Tobeytown Hosta Nursery

Specimens of over 1200 varieties of
